Subject: Tried and true and some surprises too
I love Green Mountain Grass. To me, every show is a good show. But this show exceeded all expectations. After taking a 4 month break, Dave, Pickles, Jesse and Trevor came back together as tight as ever and brought a couple of surprises with them. Songs like "Oh Lil Gal" and "84 Blues" are always fan favorites, but when they surprised everyone with a cover of "All the Children", an original song by The Blue Hit, the crowd listened in stunned silence. Even members of The Blue Hit were surprised by the cover.

Not only was the show itself a wonderful reunion for fans who have been jonesing to see Green Mountain Grass again, but Larry Pillman's recording is outstanding. Very little crowd noise can be heard except between songs as ecstatic fans cheered. I'm certainly no sound engineer, but I know what sounds good to me, and this is an incredible recording of an incredible show. I highly recommend downloading this show. Thanks again Larry!
